GIS in YOUR classroom
GIS professionals in the Houston area want to help students and teachers really understand and experience the technology that geographic information systems offers. To help with this, volunteers from local government agencies, private companies and organizations want to talk to your class, introduce them to GIS and GPS basics, help them get hands-on experience and potentially put together a project to present at the GIS Day event. See more information under Mentorship page or Mentorship FAQ.
